Superintendent

TEAMWRKX Construction currently has an opening for a Superintendent.

The Superintendent is TEAMWRKX’ primary point of contact on the job site and works closely with the client, building management, internal project team and subcontractors. The Superintendent coordinates all site construction activities and drives the construction schedule to meet deadlines while maintaining the highest level of safety, construction principles and techniques.

Location: Position available in both of our San Jose and Los Angeles offices
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Work with construction schedule, identifying and solving problems as they arise
  • Manage the field personnel and all activities according to the schedule through project completion
  • Ensure subcontractors maintain the expected highest quality of workmanship
  • Order materials and schedule inspections
  • Maintain a safe working environment and rectify job site hazards, ensuring compliance with TEAMWRKX safety policies by all teammates and subcontractors
  • Work to maintain professional relationships with client, subs and teammates

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years working in commercial construction
  • Working knowledge of Procore and Microsoft office
  • Excellent organization skills and strong interpersonal skills to work with a varied and diverse team
  • Professional demeanor to promote and represent TEAMWRKX and its core values
  • Must be able to provide references that support your leadership and ability to build strong relationships

Project Manager

Teamwrkx Construction is looking for an experienced Project Manager who joins us with an established book of business; is willing to maintain existing relationships, but welcomes the opportunity to open new doors with clients, brokers and property managers. You will be held accountable for selling, estimating, scheduling and managing your own construction projects.

Location: Position available in both of our San Jose and Los Angeles offices
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Project Team with all phases of commercial projects including bid documentation, execution of subcontracts, tracking submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, Change order requests and maintaining the progressive flow of the project by managing the paperwork
  • Assists with setting up and attending job walks
  • Attends weekly meetings and prepares accurate meeting minutes
  • Also assists Project Manager and Operations Manager with adhering to company processes and procedures, accurate and timely filing and assisting with general office administrative practices to keep work flow productive
  • Assists Field Superintendents with project administration as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of commercial construction experience, including at least 5 as a Project Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising Project Teams, including Superintendents and support staff
  • Experience working with Procore, Sage and Microsoft Office, including scheduling
  • Extensive estimating experience is critical
  • Solid knowledge of construction site work and some understanding of prime contract terms with the ability to read and write subcontract agreements
  • Must comply with the company policy of having a current valid driver’s license and OSHA 30 Certification
  • Excellent time management skills and detail oriented
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to professionally communicate with clients, sub-contractors, construction managers and act as a leader to the TEAMWRKX support staff

Project Engineer

TEAMWRKX Construction currently has an opening for the position of Project Engineer. The position is full time with multiple opportunities to learn and grow in the industry and within the company.

Location: Position available in our San Jose office
Job Type: Full-time

Procore Administrator

We are looking for an ideal candidate who is an expert working in Procore and can lead a team of Project Administrators through its daily documentation process. The ideal candidate will be able to create a cohesive team which embraces Procore and maximizes all of Procore’s benefits.

Location: Position available in our San Jose office
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Guides the Administrators through the daily project documentation process ensuring the team utilizes Procore and maximizes its features
  • Assists the team in the Field with learning Procore and guiding the Field to use the software as it was intended
  • Assists in the Administration process as needed – including setting up and attending job walks, preparing bid packages, meeting minutes and tracking and reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the commercial construction industry with knowledge of construction principles, techniques and procedures
  • Expert level of understanding Procore and a proven track record working in and training others with the software
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with project scheduling is a plus
  • Computer literate using Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel

Office Assistant

We are looking for an Office Assistant who can work alongside our busy Project Support Team. This position will be provided with the opportunity to learn construction software (Procore) and how to deal with all project documentation, office procedures and see a fast-paced industry in motion.

The ideal candidate is flexible, has a positive attitude and is willing to learn. The candidate should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software and have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors
  • Manage filing system
  • Answer calls and other communications
  • Create project binders
  • Manage warranty binder collection and creation
  • Assist in document control procedures using Procore
  • Manage office supply inventory
  • Organize and maintain office common areas
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing mail, including internal routing
  • Assist in planning company meetings and events
  • Support Office Manager and Project Support Team as needed
