Teamwrkx Construction worked side by side with hundreds of volunteers from the KEPC congregation to renovate their existing facility, transforming it into a dynamic place of worship in the San Jose community. More than $1 million dollars of the renovation work was performed by church volunteers. “When we asked Teamwrkx to blend our hundreds of volunteers with their professional construction team so that we could reduce labor costs, they said ‘no problem’,” said Pastor Wonbae Son. “Then, when our unskilled volunteers caused schedule slippages, Teamwrkx again said ‘no problem’ and stepped in and made up the difference. They did all of this on budget, without injuries and ahead of schedule. It’s wonderful to work with a contractor that understands the importance of conserving church funds.” The completed church includes two sanctuaries, new galleries and conference centers, multipurpose rooms, child and daycare facilities, classroom and bible study rooms, and indoor playground, library, and administrative offices. The sanctuaries are used by more than 1,400 parishioners and their children.
